Special issue on "Challenges and Strategies in Plant Biology Research" in commemoration of 3rd International Plant Physiology Congress-2015 held at JNU, New Delhi, India

3rd International Plant Physiology Congress-2015 on “Challenges and Strategies in Plant Biology Research” was held at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India from December 11-14, 2015. This historical event was attending by 800 academicians/researchers from 115 institute/universities coming from 14 number of countries. A total number of 117 talks were held during this four days event. Varied topics such as Abiotic Stress: Adaptation and Management, Signaling and Phototransduction, Genomics, Epigenomics and Regulation Biology, Biotic Stress: Management and Interactions, Plant Nutrition: Physiology and Genetics, Plant Growth Regulators and Applications, Photosynthesis, Genomics-assisted Plant Improvement, Physiology of Flowering and Applications, Computational and Systems Biology, Plant Metabolism and Metabolomics, Reproductive Biology were discussed during this event. To extend the advantage of this scientific event to young researchers, the Organizing Committee has decided to bring out a special issue of Indian Journal of Plant Physiology (published by Springer), the official publication of the Indian Society for Plant Physiology (http://www.ispponline.org). This special issue will have reviews as well as original articles from the key speakers of the event. In this regard, it’s my pleasure and honor to extend an invitation to you to share the exciting results of your research in this special issue.
